Covid-19 Safety guidelines

In our efforts to slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) we have a set safety guidelines for robotics training that ensures the health & protection of all participants. The list is as follows:
  • Limit class size to 4 people with one person per robot for all hands on activities
  • Robots are spaced 10 feet apart
  • Equipment and computers will be wiped down daily
  • All persons entering the facility, will be asked the following questions. If they answer yes to any question, they will be denied entrance until cleared.
    1. Do you have a fever? Temperature taken must be less than 100.4
    2. Do you have a cough or are you short of breath?
    3. Have you recently had pneumonia or the flu?
    4. Have you traveled out of the country in the last 14 days to a level 2 or 3 country as determined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention?
    5. Have you had contact with anyone who has lab confirmed Novel Coronavirus within 14 days of onset of symptoms?
  • All persons entering the facility will be required to sign the sheet affirming they have met the criteria listed above for entrance into the building. 
  • Once inside the building, all persons are required to abide by the following conditions:
    • Maintain a "social distance" of 6ft from other persons.
      • Exception: if interaction is required. Must keep to a minimum
    • Rooms may not contain more than 10 people at one time. 
  • Once classes are completed, students/faculty/staff are required to leave immediately. No one is allowed to hang around and socialize.
